Rail
Basel is an outstanding intersection of the European rail systems that connects the railway companies of three countries: the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), the French Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer (SNCF) and the German Deutsche Bahn (DB). The stations are served by international express and intercity trains (ICE and TGV) as well as frequent and regular national intercity trains. This means countless routes and connections are available in all directions.
