Gundeldinger-Casino
At the centre
of the green-belt area of Gundeldingen stands the
eponymous Casino, affectionately known as Gundeli. Its position just behind the central station makes
it easy to reach. A wide choice of halls, an up-to-date infrastructure, and superb gastronomy provide
the perfect ambience for any type of event.
The
Gundeldinger-Casino
is a good example of modern architecture, in a central position close to the central station, at the
heart of the green-belt district of Gundeldingen. Its well-equipped public rooms, with their modern
technical infrastructure, are particularly suitable for assemblies, seminars, conferences, general meetings,
banquets, congresses, concerts, festive occasions, and much more.
With
concert seating, the main auditorium holds 400, with banquet seating 350. On the third basement floor,
this is reached via a generous foyer and cloakrooms. This room also has a spacious stage suitable every
type of performance and presentation. The stage is freely available, with all the necessary technical
equipment and small dressing rooms for performers.
The Thomas-Platter
hall on the first floor has totally flexible seating that is readily converted to concert seating, banqueting
layout, seminar seating, and U-shaped seating. Depending on seating layout, it can hold from thirty
to ninety people. Three conference rooms are also available, and each can hold from fifteen to thirty
people, depending on seating layout.
The standard equipment in all rooms
includes a flipchart, video and slide projectors, overhead projector, screen, whiteboard, pin-board,
and amplifier system. The Casino also has high-quality restaurant facilities and an in-house catering
service that easily meets the most demanding standards, from cocktails, snacks, and lunches, to banquets.
